I used to be a full-time musician in Chicago. I was mostly freelance, playing sessions, weddings, church services, and night clubs. When Covid shut the city down, I suddenly found myself with an abundance of free time. I had always been interested in making gig posters, and I had a little experience with Photoshop, so I decided to teach myself to use Adobe products. Graphic design would turn into a very important part of my life.

I moved to Seattle and used my knowledge of Illustrator and InDesign to get a job a print shop, where I would develop those skills everyday in an extremely high-pressure situation. I had decided on graphic design as a vocation, but I wasn't sure how to get my foot in the door. That's when I found Seattle Central Creative Academy. I applied and my portfolio was accepted in the first round.

I am currently a student at SCCA and will graduate in 2025.
